About IZY

Who is IZY ?

We are a thermos/mug brand that wants to make an impact in keeping our beautiful planet clean and healthy. We do this by producing and selling eco-friendly thermos bottles and thermos mugs. In addition, for every purchase we donate 1000x the content of every sale in clean drinking water to Made Blue's water projects, and we are 100% CO2 neutral.

What is our mission ?

More nature, less plastic. Everyone in the world deserves access to clean and fresh water. Unfortunately, this is not yet a given everywhere in the world. We think that is unacceptable! That is why, for every IZY sold, we donate 1000x the content of this IZY in clean drinking water to the water projects of Made Blue. In addition, we are a CO2 neutral company, for every thermos bottle produced, we compensate 100% of the emissions by planting trees in Ethiopia. Did you know that 1 IZY ensures that 150 plastic bottles are saved per year? So drink re-usable!

In which sizes are the Izy's available ?

Our bottles are available in the following sizes:

  • IZY thermos flasks: 500ML
  • IZY Mugs: 350ML
  • IZY children's thermos flasks: 350ML
Where are the bottles of IZY made ?

IZY's are made of 304 stainless steel. This is a durable material that ensures that drinks can be stored safely at the right temperature! The IZY's are also BPA-free, so you can enjoy your drink without worries! In addition, stainless steel is environmentally friendly, this is because this material is 100% reusable.

Product use & aftercare

How was I an IZY ?

1. Wash the thermos flask by hand

To enjoy your IZY as long as possible, we recommend washing the bottle by hand. This will guarantee the quality!

2. Use warm water and a mild detergent

Add some warm water and a mild detergent (such as dishwashing liquid or soap) to the thermos flask and clean it thoroughly with a brush or a clean tea towel.

3. Let the thermos flask dry thoroughly with the cap off

After washing, make sure to let the thermos dry thoroughly, both inside and out. This helps to prevent bacteria and to prevent unpleasant odors from developing.

Is the bottle of dishwasher -resistant ?

NO! We do not recommend washing your IZY in the dishwasher. This is because the vacuum technology of the bottle can break, and the dishwasher can damage the coating of the bottle.

What liquids can in an IZY ?

Beverages such as coffee, tea, water, juices, alcoholic beverages, carbonated beverages and milk can be stored in an IZY. We advise not to shake the bottle too much when storing carbonated beverages and to open the bottle carefully, as there may be pressure on the cap. Be careful when storing coffee, tea and milk. We strongly recommend washing the bottle as soon as possible after use to enjoy a clean thermos for longer!

How long does my drink stay hot/cold ?
  • IZY thermos flasks: 12 hours hot & 24 hours cold
  • IZY mugs: 6 hours hot & 24 hours cold
  • IZY children's thermos flasks: Cold for 24 hours
Can an IZY in the freezer/fridge/microwave ?

We advise against this. Our products are made of double-walled insulation, so the outside temperature has no effect on the contents of the IZY. In addition, the vacuum function of the bottle can break when the IZY is put in the freezer. You can of course add ice cubes to your drink to keep the contents cool!

Are izy’s 100% leak -free ?

The IZY's are 100% leak-proof, so you can go out with peace of mind without having to worry about your bottle leaking :)

Shipping & Return

What is the delivery time of my IZY ?

For orders placed on weekdays before 13:00, these will be shipped the same day! If you have placed the order after 13:00, we can no longer guarantee shipping on the same day.

How is my IZY sent ?

Within the Netherlands, all IZYs are delivered by GLS. We chose GLS as our parcel carrier because this company has a high on-time delivery and is very reliable.

Can I still cancel/change my order ?

Once an order has been placed, it can be cancelled within 30 minutes of placing it. Changing an order is not possible. If you want to change an order, we advise you to cancel the order and place it again.

My package was not delivered, what should I do ?

How annoying to read that your IZY has not yet been delivered. After every order, we send an e-mail in which you can track your package with a track and trace code. Does this track & trace also not provide information about where your package is? Then we advise you to e-mail us at support@izybottles.com.

Please mention your order number in the email and that your package has not yet arrived. Our team will then contact you as soon as possible.

I have not received a confirmation email, which now ?

Oh how annoying to read! Have you checked your spam inbox? Sometimes IZY emails can end up there. If this is not the case, you can send an email to support@izybottles.com.

I have received a different IZY than I have ordered, what should I do ?

How annoying to read that you received the wrong IZY, our apologies! Please contact us via support@izybottles.com and mention in the mail your order number + which article you received. Our team will send the right IZY to you as soon as possible!

Can I follow my package after placing an order ?

After placing your order you will receive an email from us with a track & trace code, so you know exactly where your IZY is!

Also ship to countries outside the Netherlands ?

Yes, definitely! We deliver all over the world. So everyone can enjoy an IZY all over the world.

Can I return my order ?

Of course we hope that you are super happy with your purchase. Despite our best efforts every day, it is possible that something went wrong with your order or with the products you received. Returning an item is of course no problem! However, there are some conditions that you must observe:

* Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase.
* The original packaging is still undamaged.
* The item is complete, unused, and undamaged.
* The item is in the original product packaging.

Returns can be made in the following way:

  1. Register your return by sending an email to support@izybottles.com.
  2. Please state in this email:
  • Order number
  • Items to be registered for return
  • Reason for return

Once we have responded to the email, you can send your return to:

3. Once you have received the tracking code, you must share it with us via email in response to our approval of the return.

My order has been damaged, which now ?

How annoying to read that your IZY arrived damaged! But don't panic, you can email us at: support@izybottles.com. Please mention the following in the email:

  • Order number
  • Items that are damaged
  • Photos showing the damage + brief explanation.

We will contact you as soon as possible about how this problem can be resolved.

Warranty

My bottle does not work properly, what now ?

The IZY's are made to be enjoyed for a lifetime. Have you discovered a problem with your IZY? Then you are entitled to a 2-year factory warranty that applies from the date of purchase.

What is not covered by the warranty?

  • General wear and tear of the IZY. (scratches & dents from dropping)
  • Damage caused by unusual cleaning/maintenance. (The bottle is damaged by the dishwasher or has been stored in the freezer.)
  • Disassembly, modifications by third party. (products that have been engraved afterwards)

To qualify for the warranty, we ask that you contact support@izybottles.com.

Please include the following in this email:

  • Order number
  • Proof of purchase
  • Describe the problem you are experiencing with the IZY + photos

How long am I entitled to warranty ?

You have a 2-year warranty on your IZY! The warranty applies to manufacturing defects, and not to defects caused by daily use.

Can I have my IZY personalized at another party ?

After purchasing an IZY you are the 100% owner of the bottle and you can decide for yourself what to do with it :) Please note! If you make changes to the bottle, the warranty of the IZY will expire immediately.

Do you also have a repair service ?

Unfortunately we do not offer a repair service, this is because our products are made of stainless steel. This makes it difficult to repair the product.

Which payment methods do you accept ?

Actually, we accept almost all forms of payment! For example, we accept the following methods:

I can pay afterwards at IZY ?

Yes, this is definitely possible! You can safely pay afterwards with Klarna within 30 days. That's so nice!
